Clark County Quilters has enjoyed the hospitality and beautiful scenery at Tilikum Retreat Center for several years. As you drive through Newberg and are watching for the turn at the BIG TREE you feel the comfort of arriving at another retreat with good food, lots of quilting friends, much laughter and a time to relax. Okay, so sometimes you don't get much sleep because you stayed up all night sewing and talking. Some of you got some extra needed sleep taking advantage of a few naps each day. Whatever the case we look forward to this time all year long.

Retreat 2006 was terrific, as always, and I have prepared a few of the pictutres taken by Diana and Barbara to share our time at CCQ Retreat 2006.

Mama Duck provided all the attendees with their own ducks (cousins of her own duck) so that there would be little possibility of a duck kidnapping again this year. These ducks got into all kinds of places you can't believe but were fun to have with us and were all very quiet during their stay at Tilikum.

Once again an exciting game of Poker for the dreaded Ugly (or not so ugly) Fat Quarters as the winning pot.
