With sadness we report that Ike was killed in the line of duty on September 2, 2015. All of us at CCQ loved you and know that the Vancouver Police Department has lost one of their best.

RIP, Ike.

Blocks from the 2011 block contest
at the quilt show were made into 2
quilts. The predominantly black quilt
was made by Syn Fergusen and
quilted by Sally LeRoy. The smaller
quilt was made by Marcia Stuermer
and quilted by Val Pellens. They are
both wonderful quilts.

The proceeds benefited the
Vancouver Police Department K-9 Unit (DogPaw).
