5 inch Charm Exchange

We’re going to have fun with 5" squares creating wonderful projects. You can also use the squares to go along with the 2 ½" strips.

Drop off your bag with name printed on the bag and next month your charms will be returned. Look for the table for 5" charms.

Now its time to get started on our 5" Charm projects.

1. One yard of quilt shop fabric (allow for shrinkage and incorrect cutting) You may use different fabrics but the pairs match.

2. Pre-wash and iron your fabric.

3. Cut your 28 pairs of 5" squares. That’s 56 in all. Be sure to cut accurately.

4. Cross stack your 28 pairs of squares.

5. Bring a bag to guild meeting and place in the basket.

I’ll take the bags home to sort and return them the next month. If you choose to do more than 1 set of 28 pairs, please use different fabric for each set and put them in individual marked plastic bags.
